Day 5 Staying Put

This was our second day in Glacier National Park, the views are AMAZING.  This is the last night in the US for about 2 weeks, until Alaska.  I know it will only get colder so tonight is preparing me for it.  Outside it is raining and windy 31 degrees because of windchill.  We did not bring the electric heater because Roy said we didn’t need it.  He was wrong.  This is where sleeping close really works.
Today was wonderous.  We saw snow, fog, and rain while driving The Going to The Sun Road it was exciting today because of the weather.  We did not get to see much of the glacier because of the overcast, although what peaked through the clouds was striking.  On the drive near the top is a feature called the weeping wall water comes directly out of the rock and falls down the face.  It was shrouded in fog so the water falling made a cool mist.  I did not get a picture of this because you really could not capture it.  The landscapes were what inspires artist today it was a study of shades of white.  Oh we did see two sets of wild horse the first group had a foul with them.  They were on the side of the road and traffic was travelling to fast for us to stop.  The second group was just eating by the side of the road.  At first I thought they were more cows, we got lucky because they were horses.  Well tomorrow I will be going through pictures and will upload a bunch if there is internet.  This is such an amazing journey I am glad I can share it.
